A loan helped to place an order for plant seeds and also perform some other agricultural work.

Aishe's story

Aishe is a married rural mother of three and for the past ten years she's been doing agricultural work to earn a living, whereas her husband has been working for a private construction company that builds roads and paves asphalts for a monthly pay of $220, as that is the minimum pay in Albania. On that note, on a daily basis, the pay goes only to $8.

In the land that they own, they plant mainly wheat that they use it for the family consumption and also they plant medicinal plants such as Malva Sylvestris. Aishe is seen in the photograph at the so-called 'drying bed' where she puts the plants to dry. The annual net earnings from the sales of the plant are roughly $1600.
They live in a countryside and the loan that Aishe is requesting will be used to place an order for planting seeds.
