Tegla's story

Tegla is a married woman and a mother. She joined Hand in Hand Eastern Africa in 2023 and has benefited from financial management enterprise development and record keeping trainings.

She runs a poultry farm. She is borrowing a Kiva loan in order to buy poultry feed and purchase more birds to increase sales, hence increasing her earnings. She anticipates using the income obtained to pay school fees for her children.

She is grateful to Kiva and their lenders for the financial support and promises to repay her loan promptly.
