A loan helped to invest in her business, weeding her crops and buying feed for her animals.

Angie's story

Angie, age 23, is single and does not have children. She lives in the area of La Laguna, Alto San Pedro area, municipality of Pasto, state of Nariño, Colombia.

Since she was very young, Angie has grown vegetables and tubers, and raised guinea pigs and dairy cattle. She inherited this work from her parents and grandparents who, by tradition, worked the land, seeing it as part of their being, their cosmogony, their genes.

Angie dreams of increasing her business by adding more animals and strengthening her knowledge of the technical aspects of agricultural production.

Angie requests a loan of COP 2,129,000 to invest in her business, weeding her crops and buying supplies to feed her animals.
