Antonio's story

Antonio is a modest and a hard working 30-year-old man who has amazing skill in furniture making. He lives in Covalima municipality with his family, which is one of the most financially excluded cities in East Timor.

Antonio has a carpentry business that he started with his own working capital. It has been running for many years now. Antonio enjoys doing carpentry because it allows him to be independent and provide a better, healthier life for his family.

Antonio is requesting a $1,500 loan through KIF to help buy timber, glue, nails, and new carpentry machine in order to make more furniture to sell so that he can generate more income for his family.

Antonio hopes to run a bigger business in the future as a result of the investment. He wants to thank to all lenders for the opportunity.
