James's story

James is a 73-year-old man who is married and blessed with five children. He joined Hand in Hand Eastern Africa in 2020 and has benefited from savings and enterprise development training.

He does livestock farming. He is borrowing a Kiva loan to buy a dairy goat and hopes that this will increase his production and hence increase income. He will use the increased income to provide food and clothing for his family.

He is grateful to Kiva and its lenders and he promises to repay promptly.
