Elvira's story

Elvira is a 58-year-old woman of Egyptian ethnicity living in Albania. She lives in the city of Korca, in the southeastern part of the country. She has two children, aged 22 and 26. One of them, her daughter, was born with a disability. Her arms are very short and she has difficulty doing things on her own most of the time.

Elvira’s husband has a labor job at a tobacco factory in the city. Elvira and her daughter are receiving disability income and she cannot afford to pay for some personal medical treatments. She is thanking you in advance for your compassion. Thanks to the treatments, she hopes to be able to recover her health and lead a normal active life again.
