A loan helped to pay for her son's medical clinic expenses.


Blerta's story

Blerta is a 45 year old woman from the vulnerable community of Roma. She is a divorced mother of two minor children. To provide for her family, Blerta sells used clothes and also does agricultural activities.

Blerta is asking for Kiva lender support to be able to pay for medical clinic expenses of her little son, so he will recover somehow his health.

"My son was born with a disability which might get better in the future, but for this he needs continuous treatment which can be only given in a specialized hospital at the capital city. I have some savings but the procedure is quite expensive, for this I need your support to pay for al of it!" said Blerta during the interview.
