Then to make matters worsted we got hit with 3 inches of rain, and the next day, we were hit with an inch of freezing rain. This winter storm wiped out all my crops. This was a 68k loss.
My community and local grocery store depend alot on our crops. Farming and livestock is our Family's main source of income. If I don't get a crop in soon I could lose my home, my family farm, 4 of my farm employees will lose their homes and etc. Our employees and others in the community will go hungry if we are unable to get a crop in and harvest.

My company name is Webbs Produce Farms and Market. Our company is a small farm with 4 employees that plants various vegetables on 3 different farms across 3 different counties. We also mail our products across the USA. Our products can be found in 11 grocery stores in Arkansas. Webbs Farms has been around since the late 1940s when my grandfather and Great Uncle bought 40 acres. However, I became the owner when my father died in 2017. Even though I have an Associate Applied Science, and Lead Welder at Great Dane Trailers, I decided to become a farmer. When my dad died from basically eating himself to death by picking the wrong foods to eat not having access to organic foods and meats, as well as being exposed to GMO foods that have Cancer giving materials in them.
What is the purpose of this loan?
I am applying for this loan in order to help my farm with purchasing seedlings and seeds. Hopefully, after getting and repaying back loan it will help us build good credit history. Also applying for a loan with Kiva will keep us from getting taken advantage of by the banks and keeps us from getting racially profiled and denied by the USDA/FSA which has previously admitted to having been involved in racially discrimination practices.
If we get this loan, this will help us become self-sufficient. This loan will help us to start generating cash flow for the farm. Most importantly, this loan will help us honor our contract with the 11 grocery stores and clients. This loan will help us make our goal for the year and our company's 2022 net gross sales to $145,000.
