A loan helped to buy slippers, noodles, cigarettes, sugar, coffee, salt, milk, eggs, and fish.

Aquelina's story

Aquelina is 25 years old and married with 2 children. She has a kiosk, which she started in 2020, where many people come to buy goods every day. Running her business has made Aquelina independent because she can be responsible for herself and also help support her family.

She would like a loan of $500 from KIF to help improve her kiosk. She plans to use this loan to buy additional supplies such as slippers, noodles, cigarettes, sugar, coffee, salt, milk, eggs, and fish. She would also like to buy a refrigerator to keep drinks cold.

Aquelina hopes to run a bigger business in the future and wants to thank lenders for the opportunity.
