A loan helped me create steady income for myself while giving back to the local community.

Jenna's story

I settled for less for the better half of my life. I entered (unknowingly) into an abusive relationship right out of high school and was stuck in that cycle for 10 years.
During that time I had 4 children, 2 of which I placed for adoption as I realized I was not in a position to care for them or to leave the man I was with. I created a plan for independence, put myself through esthetics school and in 2015 I left my abusive husband with my two kids Maly & Lo. I have been the sole provider of my children ever since. I taught esthetics at a local college, have worked in nearly every capacity of the Esthetics/Beauty Industry and I've grown a local waxing salon as the CEO with 3 locations nearly 100% month over month. The only reason I am no longer with said salon is because of a drastic conflict in values. I prefer to make my money with integrity. I have the local reputation and the business know-how to run a waxing salon to profitability.
Esthetics is my passion, waxing is my niche, I've been featured on local TV programs and I have a small list of celebrity clientele as well.
I'm excited to pursue this journey in my own way and to elevate women as we grow together.

This loan is special because:

It helps a female entrepreneur cover the costs of opening her own eyebrow salon.
