A loan helped to buy fertilizer, vegetable seeds and farming equipment for the following harvest.

Adelina's story

This is Adelina, a modest and enterprising 37-year-old who is married. She has a good understanding of and experience with the farming business, which she has been doing since 2002. On her farm, she grows many kinds of plants, vegetables and kitchen herbs. When her vegetables are ripe enough, she always harvests them, then sells them at a local market to generate income for her family. The business has been helpful for Adelina's family since she first started because it helps provide for the everyday needs for her family.

She would like a loan of $350 through KIF to help grow her farming business. She plans to use this loan to buy fertilizer, vegetable seeds and farming equipment for the following harvest. Adelina hopes to increase her farming productivity in this following harvest and would like to thank all of the lenders for the opportunity. It is a second loan, and the first loan has already been paid.
