Charles Obat's story

I was born in Siaya county in the former Nyanza province to a family of 13 siblings as last borne. My father was a farmer and and hardware business man I finished primary level education only and did not proceed since all my parents died and i was left under the care of my elder brother.
My sister called me to Nairobi in 1993 to support her in small grocery business at Mathare slums. I trained as a tailor later in Eldoret town where i got married in 1999 and we migrated to Kibera in the year 2001 where we have settled since then.
I decided to operate business since it was the opportunity that i show will make money and support my family. I have 5 boys all who are in school and we are using a lot in their school fees.
My father was a business man and i loved business since when i was young.
