Partner Description:
Degas is an agricultural technology and aggregation company founded in 2019 with the mission of transforming the lives of 1 billion farmers in Africa and beyond. They intend to achieve this through the use farmer input financing and capacity building to grow farmers incomes and build their resilience.
A unique lending approach:
Degas uses Kiva financing to provide high quality inputs to smallholder farmers on credit. Using a combination of their proprietary field application, machine learning models and field teams they are able to provide access to in-kind financing and training to small holder to increase their productivity.
