Partner Description:

Ebo SACCO is a member based savings and credit union operating in western Uganda. They were founded in 1995 with the mission of providing sustainable financial services that promote livelihoods of the economically active members in rural areas while preserving the environment. They achieve this goal through provision of savings and credit products targeting rural based small-holder farmers, women and youth.

A Unique Lending Approach:

Ebo SACCO uses funding from Kiva to target underserved small-holder farmers, women, youth and households in need of renewable energy alternatives. Kiva enables the partner to expand their client network to reach more underserved communities in rural areas of Uganda.
