Selina's story

The person in the photo is Selina, 42 years old, married and a mother of three children. She joined Hand in Hand Eastern Africa in the year 2013.
She does dairy, maize and potatoe farming as her main business. She has benefited much from Hand in Hand Eastern Africa training on enterprise and financial management; this has enabled her improve her skills in budgeting, planning and record keeping.

She is borrowing from Kiva to buy farm inputs i.e. fertilizer and seeds. This will assist her cater for the family and manage her business well.
She is grateful to Kiva and their lenders and promises to pay promptly.
