A loan helped to build a fence around the field where she plants.

Selvije's story

Selvije has been planting and selling fresh agricultural produce at the local market of a main city for the past fifteen years. In addition, she’s been renting a field that is used for soccer games by children in their village. “I have my husband to help me out. We plant and harvest together, and we take turns to go to the market,” Selvije said. “We plan to create some greenhouses very soon,” she added, beaming.

Selvije is forty-eight-years-old and married with two children, twenty-two and eighteen years old, who attend their respective schools.

A loan of 100,000 Albanian lek will help her to build a fence around the field where she plants.
