Climate Change is also a matter of Climate Justice. Here we will put the funds of CarbonBuddy customers to work that chose to support Kiva projects within our emission calculation and offset tools. In the end of each month, CarbonBuddy will select a number of projects to be supported with the accumulated funds from CarbonBuddy customers. In case CarbonBuddy will earn interest off the loans provided, 75% of the interest (after taxes) (or 75ct/1$) will be reinvested in new projects and 25% (or 25ct./1$) will be used to fund the work associated with administering this work through CarbonBuddy staff. Financials of this effort will be disclosed in our annual reports at www.carbonbuddy.com/reports starting in spring 2020. If you want to become the #solutiontoclimatechange and also tackle inequality, please consider using our emission calculation and offset tools and select "Kiva" as your offset option. Aloha.
