Mujeres Unidas Group's story

This group, which is called Mujeres Unidas ('United Women'), is in their ninth loan cycle with the Women's Committee Program. The women have faced many difficulties, but, despite everything, they have stayed in the program thanks to the support they provide for each other.

Idalina, one of the members of the group, is requesting a loan to be able to cultivate cassava, peanuts, corn and other crops for sale. In this way, she will be able to continue making sales. Idalina is a fighter, who is determined to improve her living conditions. She says that thanks to sacrifices she has made, she has been able to help her loved ones get ahead. She is very grateful for the opportunity she has received to be able to grow and to improve her living conditions.
