A loan helped to buy flour, chickens, cheese, vegetables, oil, etc.

Maria Isabel's story

Maria, who is 44 years old, lives with her husband in a house she owns. She works in the sale of traditional corn based dishes (baleadas, flour tortilla folded in half with refried beans, cheese and cream; chilaquiles, cut, lightly fried corn tortillas, etc.). Her business is located close to her home in a very circulated area. Because of this, she has many clients. With the sales she makes she manages to settle some of her household expenses. She is asking for a loan to buy flour, chickens, cheese, vegetables, oil, etc., to be able to continue with her sales and be able to obtain a better economic income.
