Jazmin, who is 27 years old, is an independent businesswoman who lives in the municipality of Chocontá along with her little son who is barely three years old. She began her business of selling beauty products when she was pregnant, since she needed to generate income for her sustenance, since she was a single mother. Thus she thought that this business would not involve her being tied to a schedule, nor great sacrifices, and so she saw in this work a source of income that was adapted to her conditions.
Now she has four years of experience in the sale of these products, with a loyal customer base of whom the great majority are neighbors, friends, and co-workers of her mother. She is now applying for her first loan with the Mario Santo Domingo Foundation in order to invest in catalog products: body lotions, perfumes, jewelry, and other requests of her customers.
This investment is very important for the efficient functioning of her business, since her capital is insufficient for her to respond in a timely manner to the requests of her customers.
Her goal for the future is to be able to set up a shop where she would have greater sales and thus offer her son an excellent quality of life. Her personal goal is to have the down payment for her house.
