A loan helped to purchase two trading booths and serve people who need to access Zoona financial services in Luanshya and Ndola.

Mwape's story

Mwape is 30 years old. He is married and has two children, 1-year-old Chishimba and 3-year-old Misheck. Mwape works hard to provide for his family.

Mwape completed secondary school and college before accounting and budgeting. He has since started his own Zoona business. Mwape enjoys his business because it allows him to gain invaluable experience in customer service matters, and it gives the people in his community access to financial services without any barriers.

Mwape is requesting a loan in order to expand his business from one outlet to two and bring financial services to more communities. He described himself as a driven and hardworking man who dreams of achieving success in business in order to further support his family and his children’s education.

When Mwape receives this loan, he will be able to purchase two trading booths, one small and one big. The trading booths will be placed in two different spots; the big booth will go to Ndola town, where there is more traffic, and he will place the small one in Luanshya, which is a smaller town compared to Ndola. Mwape has done a lot of market research and is confident of the two locations where he wants to expand his business. Opening these two locations will enable Mwape to hire two new people to help him run the outlets.

This loan means a lot to Mwape. It will give him the chance to grow
