A loan helped to hire a tractor to plow her farmland and to buy natural fertilizer.

Sok's story

T. is 47 years old and a resident of Banteay Meanchey Province, Cambodia. She has four children: two of them are single and live with her, and the other are married and lived separately. To help earn a stable family income, one of her sons works as a rice trader in Sereysophon market with an income of $4 per day. T. is married to Khy, 64, who owns a rice milling machine. T. currently wants to plant crops on her farmland for the coming traditional festival. So T. is applying for a loan of $600 to hire a tractor to plow her farmland and to buy natural fertilizer.

She dreams of having a bigger house and a master's degree for her daughter. T. was not available for the photograph so Khy is in the picture instead.
