Rhulangane B Group's story

Lwiyando is a merchant and the treasurer of the community bank “Rhulangane B”. She is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima, and she is 40 years old and the married mother of five children, all in school. She has been a vendor of secondhand shoes at a market in town for sixteen years. She began her business with funds from her husband, who is a nurse.

To grow her business, Lwiyando is going to purchase 10 bales of shoes. Her wish is to become a supplier and to provide schooling and food for her children. In conclusion, she thanks Hekima for its support of unbanked entrepreneurs.
