María, 65 years old, didn't go to school. She is married, unfortunately her husband left her when she all her children were young. Now the 5 of them are adults and she only lives with a thirteen-year-old granddaughter.
María currently works weaving hammocks to order and makes others to bring and sell on Sundays in the city where there are more people. Since her husband left her, she has made hammocks and she continues doing it with her granddaughter's help. This photograph was taken in the market where she sells the hammocks.
María asks for the loan to purchase materials to make hammocks since several orders have been placed and she doesn't have the material she needs. With the loan she will be able to supply her needs.
María's dream is that her granddaughter completes school since she couldn't help any of her children go to school.
