Mrs. Mao P. is a 37 year-old village bank president. She breeds chickens and pigs for a living. Since her business is doing well, she wishes to expand it. Thus, she has decided to request a loan that will allow her to buy more chickens and piglets for breeding. Her husband, Mr. Keo Mono, is a farmer who owns a plot of land of which he uses to cultivate rice. Aside from this plantation, he is a laborer. Mrs. Mao P. has three children, one of whom is employed in a garment factory while another is attending the local school and the remaining is too young to work or study.
