Kigendwa Group is a new group located in Rugarama, Kigyedwa Nyamuyanja Isiingiro district. It’s comprised of only men whose major activities are agriculture, especially goat rearing and cattle fattening.
Adonia, for example, will use his share of loan to to buy organic fertilizers to spread in his banana plantation.
These people have been together for five years, and are used as examples in the village for the development in their village. Their children are in better schools and ther plantations yield much matooke of good quality. They have a challenge of few matooke due to little manure added into their plantations; their goal is to have as much yield that is sufficient to give them income which will improve their life styles. They appreciate UGAFODE and kiva support.
