Norn, a farmer living in Kampong Cham province, is 54 years old and the mother of five children. To make her living, she grows cassava and vegetables as the main source of her income. She can earn income about 25,200 KHR per day.
For Norn, this is her sixth cycle with VisionFund (Kiva’s partner) and she has fully repaid all of her past loans. She leads a group of two to get a new loan.
As the group leader, she will spend her entire loan portion to buy fertilizer and pesticide and to pay a land fee to support her farm. She hopes that she can get a good yield and make a good income to improve her living conditions.
