Tsitsi is a member of Kugarika group, based in Crowborough high density suburb. She is a married woman with four children who sells ceramic tea sets and bowls from home. She restocks locally in Harare, and trades locally in nearby plots and rural areas. Tsitsi and her groupmates are in their 2nd loan cycle with Thrive Microfinance. With her first loan Tsitsi managed to grow her business and increase her profit levels.
Tsitsi is now able to help her husband pay their children’s school fees and meet other household demands. Tsitsi's business has grown, and she now restocks more quantities than before. Tsitsi credits the training she got from Thrive for the growth and strengthening of her business. With her current loan, Tsitsi plans to restock more ceramic products for her business as demand from her customers is growing. In future, Tsitsi is planning to open a shop in the central business district specializing in Kitchenware.
