A loan helped to buy livestock to fatten.

Rosa Idis's story

Rosa, 35, is in a common-law marriage and has four children, ages 10, 12, 17 and 18. All of them are studying. She did not have the opportunity to study. Her partner is a construction worker. Only he and the children live with her.

Rosa makes a living in agriculture, an activity which she learned about from her parents. She also has four animals and she raises pigs to fatten and sell. The plot of land where she plants crops is located 15 minutes away from her house by foot. Her children support her in this activity.

She is applying for a loan to buy livestock to fatten and then sell. She hopes to continue working with livestock to give her children the opportunity to study, so that one day they can work in a profession which they like.
