The client, Tumaini, is 36 years old and the mother of six children, all of them students. She is the president of Matendo Group and is married to a local shopkeeper.
Tumaini sells various goods, a business she began when she first received funds from MFI [microfinance institution] Hekima. The new loan will allow her to stock her business with six boxes of batteries, two sacks of sugar, two containers of oil, and cooking ingredients, with the goal of expanding her business.
Tumaini thanks Hekima with all her heart, for their unprecedented support of the women of Bukavu facing a lack of means.
