Just 20 years old and she already has big ambitions to make her community and everyone who visits her aware of the business she runs with such energy and dedication. She is single and lives with her parents and has the desire to succeed and accomplish her big dreams in life. (Silvia is the first from left to right in the photo)
The work she does with so much zeal is the buying and selling of traditional clothing. She does this business out of her home and in nearby places in the community where she lives. The second business that she has is selling bananas, which she has been doing with a sister for more than two years, because it produces profits for them for their family's well-being and improves financial conditions for their family and community.
She has been an example to her community, and that is why a group of women have joined Silvia in order to start their businesses - so each and every one of them can get ahead and have a significant source of income.
She will use the loan that she is getting to buy merchandise in the form of traditional garments to be sold in the surrounding area. One of her dreams is to have a storefront in the marketplace in her community so she can increase her sales.
