Yavana is a 28 year old woman, married, mother of two children, who works selling used clothes. She is enterprising, tenacious, intelligent, enthusiastic, responsible and very hardworking. Her business is located in the area of the Satellite City of El Alto. This place is characterized by its cold weather during the whole year, that does not get over 17ºC in the summer. Temperatures below zero are common in winter days, and there are also strong winds coming from the nearby mountains. Because of this weather, it is common to find part of the city covered in snow during the coldest seasons of the year. Yavana is of dark skin, long black hair and medium height. Her native language is Aymara and she uses Spanish for commerce. Her business is selling used clothes: "Take advantage of the sale of skirts for two bolivianos (Bolivian currency)!", "Two shirts for five!" "Sale of mixed items for two bolivianos!" These are some of the sales in clothing that she offers starting at 7 in the morning in midst of the cold that blows from the mountains. She wants to improve the quality of life of her family by remodeling her house. This is the reason why Yavana is requesting a loan to buy building material and to remodel her house in order to improve the quality of life of her family.
