Cycle 2 is running smoothly and well, so all members of the group would like to apply for a third loan. Rahayu group has come back to Kiva for the third cycle due to immense benefit of Kiva's loans in growing their businesses; their economies have started to thrive. Their children can go to school, daily needs can be met piecemeal. Rahayu group members wanted to increase their businesses, as they meet more and more competition. They hope that loans from Kiva in cycle 3 can improve their businesses by adding new types of food, supplementing the contents of the shop as snacks for the kids, or buying a more powerful tool for producing more milkfish pesto.
Rahayu group is headed by a mother who has a business: a coffee shop and children's games. Sumarsih is a leader and has three children who are still in school; her husband is a farmer. For Sumarsih, these loans are significant, especially for her family and the members of the group Rahayu. Her hope with this loan is to be able to raise capital to complete the coffee shop and add to the types of children's games. Sumarsih also hopes that all members can live better and be more eager to develop their businesses. The members of the group "Rahayu" say a big thank you to lenders for their confidence, for having been willing to provide loans, although the members of this group do not know them personally.
