Farah baji is the wife of Mr. P. and lives in a small area named Bund Road of City Lahore, Pakistan. She has been married for the last 10 years. She is from a very poor family, and she lost her childhood and didn’t get an education due to their low income. Unfortunately, the person with whom she married is also a poor man and earns a very insufficient income. Farha baji is a mother of four children: three sons and one daughter. Her elder son reads in the 2nd standard.
Farha baji’s husband is a driver by profession and has been driving an auto-rickshaw (a local three-wheeled motor vehicle) for the last 5 years. Farha baji herself is a housewife and prefers to do household work and take care of her family. Farha baji and her husband have a dream to give their children a better future and good education. She is applying for a loan to repair an auto-rickshaw for her husband so that he'll be able to earn more profit and fulfill the dream for their children.
She is joined in her loan group by a few more members. Nazleen baji wants a loan to buy cable wires for her networking business so that she will be able to provide more TV channels to her community. Lubna baji wants a loan to buy groceries for her grocery shop. Fahmida baji wants a loan to buy clothes to resell.
This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
In this group: Farah, Nazleen, Lubna, Fahmida
