Ramón is 52 years old, married and father of two children who he constantly strives to ensure they lack nothing. He lived in Manizales where he worked as a foreman on various farms. But due to the violence and breakdown of public security that occurred in the area he had to move to another city in order to find new opportunities to support his family. Once settled into his new home, he learned about the making and sale of home cleaning products. And so he began his new business several years ago. Today it has become his unique source of income to support his family. Also he sells prepared foods, fries, ice-cream and other products with the goal of complimenting the family's income. He works every day from 7 am until 8 pm.
Ramón will use the loan to buy supplies and raw materials wholesale (packing material, chemicals and plastic containers). This will permit him to continue with his work and to increase his production so he can cover the actual demand and increase his revenues. Ramón says that his biggest dream is to make his business sustainable and position it in the market to guarantee him a higher profit and allow him to improve the living conditions of his family.
