Asri Lestari Group's story

Ni Nyoman is the head of the Asri Lestari group, which is located in west Bali, near the border between Bali and Java. Although most inhabitants there work as a fishermen, the Balinese women still maintain cultural ties to raising pigs for supporting the family income. Ni Nyoman has 2 children and her husband works as a mason.

She will use her loan to purchase 3 superior piglets and feed. Her plan is to manage fattening the piglets. She hopes the price for pigs remains high and she can earn a satisfactory profit. One member could not attend the meeting because she went to the Temple.
