A loan helped to buy farming supplies (manure, fertilizer, fungicides) to fertilize his crops.

Hernando De Jesus's story

Hernando is 45 years old and is a married father of 2 children. He lives on his own plantation where he works growing sugar cane, coffee and fruit trees, a trade which he learned from his father when he was young. To generate income, he sells the products he harvests, and in this way he manages to provide for his family. He is hard-working and passionate about his family and his work. This has prompted him to request a second loan, which he will use to buy farming supplies (manure, fertilizer, fungicides) to fertilize his crops, especially his coffee plants. With this help, he will be able to harvest a better-quality product and sell it at a better price at the market, thus increasing his income. Hernando dreams of growing more crops, since he has the land to do this on, and in this way provide well-being and financial stability for his family and continue moving forward.
