A loan helped to buy clothing wholesale.

Nayeli's story

19-year-old Nayely is a hard-working, determined woman who is also cheerful and friendly. She is married to Marco and has has a one-year-old child. They live in their own home together with her mother.

Nayely's business is selling men's, women's and children's clothing. She has been in this business for more than three years and, up to now, she has worked alone. Nayely enjoys her business as it makes her good income and means she can be at home to take care of her little one. She says that she is also able to sew and has plans to buy a sewing machine and start a sewing business so that she can make more income.

This will be Nayely's second loan from Kiva. She is very happy to know that she will have financial support as it makes her feel certain that she will advance in her business. She will use the 1,000 soles that she has requested to buy different types of clothing so that she has stock available to sell. She hopes to obtain her products at a lower price by buying wholesale.
