A loan helped a member to purchase sheep to fatten.

Seynabou's Group's story

The banc villageois "And Suxali Barome" was created on September 19, 2012. It is in cycle 2; it is composed of 36 women from the same village, and they are active in commerce and agriculture.

Ndoumbé, the representative, is 55 years old, married, and the mother of one child. A woman who has paid back her loan without difficulty, she has an agriculture business and grows peanuts in particular, and she fattens sheep at the same time. She capitalizes on over thirty years of good experience and is really mastering her domain, since many people in the village wait for only her products due to the good quality. In the photo, she is the only one standing with her hand raised.

With her loan, she intends to purchase 3 sheep at 25,000 francs to fatten and resell in a few months.

She would like to achieve financial autonomy and to ensure family expenses are covered.
