Shahida's Group's story

Shahida baji, wife of A. A., has lived in Kasur, Pakistan, for the last three years. (Baji is an Urdu term meaning "elder sister.") She is a mother of a one-year-old daughter named Kubra and live in a one room house. Her husband runs a grocery shop. Shahida baji is applying for a loan for her husband’s grocery shop.


Her loan group includes four other members. Razia baji wants a loan for her vegetable business; Riaz baji wants a loan to buy a fruit cart; Zikria baji wants a loan for her food business; Bushra baji wants a loan to expand her fruit business.
