Theresa T. S.'s story

Theresa T. S. runs a shop in Buchanan, the capital city of Ground Bassa county, which is good at production when it comes to fishing. She runs her shop on the Liberia market, where she sells lots of items like used clothes, cosmetics, soft drinks, and batteries. She started this business with help from her sister, and learned the trade from her mother. Presently the problems she faces are the size of her shop and low income.

Theresa is requesting a loan to buy more goods (such as used clothes, cosmetics, soft drinks, and batteries) and to expand the size of her business. She enjoys her business because it has improved her life and her childrens' lives.

Theresa is a high school graduate, is 37 years old, and is married with four children ages 5, 9, 11 and 12. All of her children are in school and living with her. Her dreams are to expand her business even more, and to send her children to college.
