Hadjah's story

Hadjah is married with four children. Only three of her children go to school. She has a business selling used clothes. She has been in this business for 15 years and retails to all categories of people. She has applied for a loan of 1,000,000 Ugandan shillings from MCDT SACCO to buy more bales of used clothes. Besides this clothing business she also sells piped water. Her major business challenges include thieves and ever-increasing prices of used clothes. She aspires to see her business grow big so that she can become a wholesaler and be able to start importing used clothes. She resides in a home that she owns and the family has access to piped water and electricity. Hadjah's monthly expenses include school fees, paying for utility bills, and feeding the family.
