A loan helped to buy a soldering machine, materials to vulcanize tires, and other tools for his shop.

Ditier's story

Ditter, age 36, is a hard-working and diligent man. He is also friendly and gentlemanly. He is separated from the mother of his four children, 14 year old Andrea, 11 year old Cintia, 7 year old Gustavo, and 3 year old Maria. He lives in a rented house with his children. He loves them very much, and they are his motivation to continue working hard.

Ditter provides soldering services. He learned this trade through experience when he worked as a helper in a soldering shop. Now he works in his own shop, which he set up in the front of the house he rents. He also provides the service of vulcanizing motorcycle and “mototaxi” (three wheeled motorized vehicle) tires. He started this business over seven years ago, and so far he works alone.

He considers his business activity to be very profitable because of the good income it gives him and the small amount of time it takes to do the work. Before he started his business activity he had financial hardships. The previous job did not pay him very well, and he considered it to be difficult. Many times the family was in want.

However, his job now has better income, which he wishes to use to open a store with lubricants and replacement parts for vehicles.

This will be his third loan with MFP. He is happy and grateful to know that he can continue to count on a loan to advance with his business. He pledges to make his payments like he did with his previous loans. He will use the requested 2,500 soles to buy an electric grinder for 150 soles and a soldering machine for 1,700. He will use the balance to buy the materials needed to vulcanize tires.
