Luchadoras Group's story

“Luchadoras” (Battlers) is a group formed by 13 women from the city of Mariano Roque Alonso. They are very hard-working and struggling people who always put forth maximum effort to be able to help their families. The members want to be able to grow, not only economically, but also personally, in order to become better people and better human beings.

Maria del Carmen is one of the members. She is a seamstress, by which activity she has helped her family and in this manner, covered their expenses which grow from day to day. One of her goals is to be able to expand her shop and, in this way, she can help more people in her barrio.

Maria is requesting a loan to buy cloth, thread, fasteners, buttons, and other supplies necessary to meet demand and fill the orders of her customers.
