A loan helped to buy poultry and a chuff cutter.

Yegon's story

Yegon is a resident and a farmer in Litein. His farm produces mainly milk, onions, and tea. He earns additional income by working occasionally in a local tea factory. He is married and has five children between the ages of 15 and 1.

Yegon has requested a loan of 45,000 KES from Juhudi Kilimo to buy poultry birds and a chuff cutter to help in feeding his dairy animals. He says this will improve his milk production, as well as help him find a new venture into poultry farming.

He states the lack of funds as the challenge in farming.
