Salama's story

Salama lives in Kampala, Uganda. She is married and has four children, three of whom go to school. She doesn’t take care of additional family members.

She has requested a loan of 500,000 UGX from MCDT SACCO to buy more bales of used clothes.

Her major business challenges are seasonality and increasing prices of clothes. Her goals and aspirations are to start importing used clothes and also to build rental houses.

Salama lives in her own house and the family has access to piped water and electricity. Her monthly expenses include food, school fees, and feeding the family.
