Soledad's story

Soledad is 59 years old and lives in Comayagua, Comayagua. She is a single mother with one son, with whom she lives. She has been making and selling tortillas from her home for the past 22 years. Previously, she worked in commerce.

She is applying for a loan of 6,000 lempiras to invest in the purchase of corn, firewood, and other supplies needed for tortilla production. With this financing, she hopes to grow her business and increase her income. Her goal is to provide a better quality of life for her son.
