A loan helped to purchase raw materials and start producing cleaning products at home instead of only reselling them.

Ola's story

Ola is a 40-year-old married woman and a mother of five children in different stages of their education.  She lives with her family in a small rural village.  Ola runs a small business selling household cleaning products.  Before receiving loans from the association, her project was very small.  She started with a modest loan, which she used to purchase cleaning products for resale.  Through her hard work, she was able to generate good profits, gradually expand her business, and consistently repay all her installments on time without any delays.

Ola's husband used to work irregular daily jobs, which was physically demanding and unstable.  With the profits from her business, Ola was able to purchase a tricycle, which her husband now uses to distribute and sell the products across their village and nearby areas. This significantly improved their sales and income stability.

Ola is now requesting a loan of 60,000 EGP to take the next step in developing her business.  She plans to use the loan to purchase raw materials and start producing cleaning products at home instead of only reselling them.  This will help her increase her profit margins, expand her business further, and create a more sustainable source of income.  Together with her husband, she will continue marketing and distributing the products.  The loan will support Ola in increasing her family’s income, improving their living conditions, and helping her children continue their education.
