Maltida's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 42-year-old Maltida from Torkpoi Branch. She is a married businesswoman with three children between the ages of 9 and 16 years old. They are currently attending school. She started this business to generate income and support her family.

Maltida runs a retail business and sells clothes to her customers around the communities. She has been in this business for the past 10 years. She says that her challenge is the increase in cost of goods and commodities in the country.

She requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more clothes to increase her business. She says that the extra income from this loan will help to take care of her family. In the future, she would like to expand to a large scale. She says thanks to BRAC and Kiva for their support.
