Ndiaré Group's story

This group of 25 members was established in 2009. The aim of creating the group is to enable its members to develop businesses. The members live in the same neighbourhood and are all united by family ties and a strong sense of solidarity. They are mainly engaged in retail.
Madame Maye, the group's leader, is on the right of the photo with her hand raised, wearing a white dress. Aged 59, she is married and has two children, including one daughter. She runs a business selling sheep and condiments. She has a stall at her home where she displays her goods.
With this loan, she plans to buy a sheep to fatten up and various condiments for cooking.
With the proceeds, Madame Maye plans to help her family and meet their needs.
